Do you ever think about yourself? I have noticed that it is too easy in my life to make things about me. When talking with someone am I listening to what they are saying or just thinking about how it makes me feel? Also, first impressions can be decieving. The way that person was acting could be for a vast amount of reasons; therefore, I should not base my whole opinion of him/her off of that impression. It is too easy to make the situation about yourself and harder to be understanding of what a person is going through or what else he/she could mean by giving that look or saying those words.
The first impression you get of someone can be totally different than the way that person is or what he/she meant. Communication is hard and I have found that I am not good at it. But I know that it takes work and is worth the work because relationships are built off of communication.
