Abrasive Vs. Embracive

hey, the other night our Pastor explained how that relationships are a balance of being embracive and abrasive. We cant embrace everything someone does because we are all sinners and that is when a true friend and one who loves would be abrasive, of course you do that with a balance of grace and truth and with kindness, but far too often I am embrasive of everything someone does or I see something that is wrong and just reject that person rather than being a brother and being abrasive with them. This is a balance that I think we need in relationships. The only one whom we can fully embrace in everything is God because He is perfect and holy and without sin therefore when we embrace others entirely we could be putting them up with God so lets have a balance and a proper view of ourselves seeing our sin and need for our Savior God.
